Medfit combines the latest in training with specialists in rehabilitation and care. We want to be the bridge between healthcare and wellness. We employ physical therapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and chiropractors, along with personal trainers, group exercise instructors, and health coaches. We have a high level of collective expertise in areas such as behavioral medicine, acupuncture, ergonomics, sports medicine, ultrasound diagnostics, orthopedic manual therapy (OMT), and many different forms of rehabilitative training and wellness, diet and nutrition, and assistive device prescription. We also provide rehabilitation in the home.
We have clinics in Haninge, Farsta, and Flemingsberg in Stockholm and are affiliated with Region Stockholm.

Approximately 260 nurses, occupational therapists, and physical therapists work alongside over 7,000 other employees in healthcare and social services in the municipality of Uppsala.
We support people aged 17 and older in many different areas: home care, various types of housing, assistance and an assistive technology center, LSS initiatives, and social psychiatry. The goal is for them to be able to live as active and independent a life as possible.
Here, you can really make a difference for users, colleagues, and relatives. Our licensed staff also work closely with the region to develop local healthcare. We offer 12 master's programs within the Faculty of Medicine at Uppsala University, 10 of which are international. These programs are aimed at those with a bachelor's degree in biomedicine, natural sciences, nursing, or health, but candidates in other subject areas are also eligible to apply for any of the programs.
The international programs cover a variety of areas: biomedicine, forensic science, global health, infection biology, innovative medicine, medical research, medical nuclide technology, molecular medicine, precision medicine and implementation, transformative learning, and sustainability (an interdisciplinary program in sustainability and global health). The Swedish programs focus on Public Health and Biomedical Laboratory Science. The programs are a perfect start to an academic career as a doctoral student or researcher and other roles in biotech, the pharmaceutical industry, government agencies, and various organizations. The collaboration between the programs gives you the opportunity to study the subjects you need for your future career in medicine, health, and healthcare, both nationally and internationally.
